Year 7 student feedback
We have asked our Year 7 students to provide some thoughts on their Cockermouth School experience. There is a selection of their work and the answers that they provided ahead of this year’s transition here for Year 6 students to look at.
Student Information and Admission Forms
Please find here a copy of our Welcome to Cockermouth School information pack, which contains much of the information that you and your child will need to know before joining us here at Cockermouth School.
There is also here a copy of the forms that you will need to download, complete and send to us before your child starts in September. Please complete and return these by 30 June 2020 either by...
· completing electronically and emailing to email@example.com (we advise password-protecting first), or
· printing and posting the completed forms to the Data Assistant, Cockermouth School, Castlegate Drive, Cockermouth CA13 9HF
If you are unable to use either of these methods, please contact us as soon as possible on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange an alternative.
School Uniform Orders
You can download a Uniform Order form for The Toy Shop, which is the main supplier of our branded uniform, here. Please do not return your order form to us – all orders should be returned to The Toy Shop by email, email@example.com, or to the shop at 72 Main Street, Cockermouth, which is planning to re-open on Monday 15 June.
On 20 May, Mr Routledge recorded an update for Year 6 students and their parents:
On 5 May, a letter was sent to the parents/carers of Year 6 students, to read this please click here.
We will keep in touch with Year 6 parents in the coming weeks to provide updates on the Intake Process. Please can you continue to check this website and your e-mails to ensure that you are receiving all of the latest information.
If you did not receive the above letter directly, then it is possible that it was redirected to your spam/junk folder. If that is the case, can you please check this folder and mark this message as being sent from a trusted sender.
It is important to us that we can communicate with Year 6 parents directly at the current time and we would appreciate your support with enabling this.
